Bobby aus Kalifornien hat seinen Sorento "Bixby" getauft - nach der gleichnamigen, berühmten "Bixby Bridge" an der kalifornischen Pazifik-Küste.

Greeting from Southern California. My name is Bobby and I will be sending 5 pics of my Sorento named "Bixby."  She is named after her color and the Bixby Creek Bridge in Big Sur, CA which is very green.

I have made many modifications to the car, including intake work and exhaust. The car is much faster and better looking.

Enjoy!

Picture of Interior with GSM Bluetooth phone and Kenwood GPS/MP3/DVD/CD/Sirius radio receiver. I feel this is a nice finishing look for the interior.

Here is a view of my airbrush work to remove all those damn Kia logos from the car. I have had friends try to talk me out of custom rims because "Your rims look great!" What a difference a logo makes!

Here is a shot of the rear. Note that all badges have been removed and the only chrome item is the license plate holder. This lends to the color scheme and it leaves people wondering just who makes the vehicle.  I constantly have people breaking their necks to look at the grill (Tomato logo) to figure out what it is. I have also had people walk around the vehicle when I am returning and I get asked: Is this an Acura? Is this a Lexus? What is it? ;-)

This picture shows the exhaust made by world famous Ed Hansen. He has been featured in many magazines and I am a loyal customer.  This combined with a K&N airfilter w/ MAF screen removal has added at least 20hp. I can outrun most other SUV's including the 240hp pilot and Acura MDX. Next up is the 22hp MAT sensor resistor because the car is much stronger in the morning. ;-) In addition, I run synthetic Trans, differential, and engine oils.

PS: I find that starting the vehicle out in second provides a much better shift point than drive. Try it at 1/2 throttle. Instead of winding it shifts to second and pulls away from most other SUV's. ;-)

This is a picture of my first road trip in my Sorento. This is one of the most photographed bridges in the world and was the reason I named my Sorento “Bixby.”  This shot is of the Bixby Creek Bridge in Big Sur, CA and is about as far as you can go before passing the sign. ;-) Note the colors in the background—my SUV feels at home in this area.
